NATUWA NAMAN AKO. I rarely go online lately. Yet Keeyen makes me feel that despite the fact that we rarely talk in person and we don’t talk much online anymore, he still is a friend, a friend that stays. :)
Just an update to my blog == Random thoughts. :P
I attended the small get-together at Toni’s place this afternoon. We played cards, enjoyed karaoke, and had a bit of truth or dare. They weren’t so serious about the asking questions part though and asked funny questions like: choose between _ _ _ _ _ _ or _ _ _ _ _ (insert persons’ names here). :)) We also had a deal that whoever loses in the card games would face the consequence of singing karaoke. I lost a game so they made me sing Oops! I Did It Again. It was actually my first time to sing karaoke in front of my friends. . . Awkward. :)) Aaaand unfair! Jason lost the next game yet he didn’t do the consequence. :| Nauto na naman ba ko? :/ Nevermind, it was worth it naman.. FUUUUUN. :) I also expected a lot more people to come, wonder what happened to them. :P Oooooh.. Didn’t get the chance to take pictures, too bad. :( Maybe because I got too preoccupied mimicking Gelo’s “fat boy” to tease Jason. =))
I also finished sewing my Wal-nut (of Plants vs Zombies) costume this afternoon. It’s for our parade next week (for it’ll be our Foundation Week). I’ll post a picture next time. :D
Anyway, I’m also hoping that Brandon wouldn’t get a link to my blog. Friends said that I have a lot of posts about him/us? Kinda embarrassed when Elcee commented about us being inlove. :| :)) Yaaaayks.
One more week before classes start.. Aaaaaah. Still haven’t finished reading my sister’s book. :| And, didn’t read a single chapter of Accounting either. Geeky? My dad advised me to read in advance.. which unfortunately, I wasn’t able to do. HAHAHA. Maybe tomorrow.. Or the day after. Or maybe.. I don’t know. NEVER. :P

Since I’m now 18, I think I have to relive this blog and update.. So, I’m going to talk about my birthday last Saturday. :)
Hmmm.. It started not so differently for I had classes and a quiz in Economics, which I perfected. Haha. Guess I was lucky ‘cause it was my birthday! :P Anyway, as soon as I reached our classroom, my blockmates started greeting me and even sang a birthday song for me, which I didn’t really expect. I was touched. :’) And my not so friendly seatmate even talked to me as soon as I got to my seat and confirmed if it was my birthday. Aw, that changed my mind about her a bit. Maybe she’s just really a very serious person.. that’s why I misinterpret her.? Haha. Anyway, a got another birthday song during Cost Accounting class.. And that somehow made me feel more welcome in my new class. :D
Moving on.. After classes, Ana, Cyrielle, Jean, and Laiza were waiting for me outside and surprised me with their gift. It was a tumbler! Haha. It’s really pink so I love it.. But I’m quite hesitant on using it though. It was one of those personalized tumblers and it had my picture on it! Whooops, nakahihiya. Haha.
Then I went home to get dressed for lunch with my sister. She granted my wish of me wearing a pink dress on my 18th birthday. :D Best sister ever! It was a pink sexy back dress. :)) We had lunch at Chili’s, her treat. ;) It felt good eating there for our family used to dine there when we were still in Oman. How I wish my family and relatives were there with us too! The crew from Chili’s sang a birthday song for me (first time to experience that!). They also gave me free dessert and a gift (a keychain). :D Then, we went shopping afterwards. Also bought a floral dress which I’m not even sure where I’ll wear. Haha. I just bought it because.. I’m really not sure. : )) Anyway, I’ll ask my sister for pictures next time, when we’re both not so busy anymore..
At 4:30, I had to leave my sister to meet Brandon. I was on the other side of the city so instead of going to Trinoma, I requested him that we go to MOA instead. :)) We met after more than an hour and went to MOA.. I wanted to see a movie in the Director’s Cut Theater (I’m not sure if I remembered that right.) but.. Movies were to start late and if we went, I wouldn’t have been able to get home early enough for my curfew. Sad sad. :/ So.. We decided to have dinner na lang. We were undecided on where to eat so we went around the mall to look for a place. Almost all places had waiting lines so we didn’t know where to go. :( Until we saw Teriyaki Boy, and settled for that. :)) The food wasn’t that.. Satisfying. So we promised to not eat there again. :)) Brandon’s gift was a bracelet with butterflies, a big one with two small ones. It was kinda.. Strange. According to him, it was unique and claimed that it took him almost an hour of deciding whether to buy it or not. Haha. Sweeeet? :) He also gave me a letter.. Which wasn’t quite touching. So I asked him to write me a new one and sent it thru the post office. Hahaha. I got the second letter with a greeting card two days ago, and that one was so much better, it left me teary-eyed! :’) Anyway, going back.. Since we didn’t have more time, we wen home as soon as finishing dinner. Unluckily, we ran into a perverted taxi driver.. I don’t want to talk about him that much anymore.. But just so you have a clue, he said things like, “Sa hotel ko na lang kayo ihatid.” ?!?!?! That was really creepy.. But instead of not talking, I continued on talking, I’m not sure why though. Maybe because I was scared that he’d feel disrepected and bring us somewhere else or maybe I’m just naturally talkative. :P Hmmmm.. Thinking positively, at least he added more adventure to the day and like what my roommate said, it’s not good to experience just happiness. The taxi driver brought balance to my birthday. : ))
It was also my first time to receive tulips; my mom gave some as her birthday present. : ) I also received a gift from my chikadora ex-seatmates and friends, Apphia and Karl. Apphia gave me cute black flats which fit me just right and Karl gave his long promised munchkins, which were supposed to be donuts! Haha. My best friend, Kristal, also left me a letter and Archie comics in my dorm. Too bad I wasn’t around when she came. : ( Her letter touched me a lot.. My roommates got surprised when I started crying. Haha.
Anyway, I had a really great time even though I wasn’t home celebrating with my family.. The people here made me feel loved. People back home did too, even though they were far away.. Or should I say I am far away?.. Oh, and another thing! I jokingly asked my mom if I’m still not allowed to have a boyfriend now that I’m 18. She replied, “Y naman? Ok lang yan. I trust you alam ko na alam mo ang limitations at priority mo pa rin studies mo.” YEEEEY. Hahahaha. And just a day after that, I already had my first ex boyfriend. HAHAHAHAHAHA. I’ll talk about that next time..
Exams’ll be next week.. And I have another test in Economics tomorrow, so I guess I should stop here.. Toodles poodle noodle :))
